My name is Karen Wiederhold and i'm a published freelance yarn and general craft designer living in Gloucestershire, UK.
I create and sell my cross stitch and yarny patterns under the name Thistleheart Creations (previously Weediflower Creations) via my shop on Etsy. My full catalogue of designs, both free and for purchase, are available to view here on my website.
I was born to my Scottish parents and raised in South Africa before moving to the UK in my 30's. My heritage is Scottish, Swedish and Finnish so in combination with living in England it makes for a diverse interest in styles to inspire me.
My interest in knitting, crochet and embroidery began at a very young age and being creative and crafting is a large part of what makes me who I am.
